What to expect on your first visit

Step 1

An initial phone/e-mail correspondence takes place to determine you needs

Step 2

Listen to our EN consultant and our guiding principles and values to determine if our services match your need.

Step 3

Schedule the first meeting. The initial appointment includes nutrition assessment (45 minutes), assessing learning needs and education (30 minutes) and partnering together to form an initial nutrition care plan (15 minutes) with specific recommendations.

Clients are asked to bring with them all medications and/or nutritional supplements to their first appointment in their original containers.

A 3-day food record will also be requested. This is a detailed record of what one eats for 3 days, including solid food and fluids, times when food is eaten, activities while eating etc.
Copies of recent blood work would be helpful if available.

Step 4

We may need to book additional meetings as required.
